This flooring renovation transformed a newly purchased home with worn carpet in the living room and bedrooms and a patchwork of mismatched flooring throughout the kitchen and other areas. To create a brighter, more cohesive interior, the homeowner selected a single luxury vinyl plank flooring style for the entire house.
The project included removing existing carpet and pad, extracting thousands of staples and nails, filling and leveling significant height differences and gaps between various subfloor materials, and custom fitting the new flooring around existing conditions. Carefully planned transitions between rooms created a seamless appearance throughout the home while providing the durability and low maintenance of luxury vinyl plank flooring.
